Jeff Stolte
Managing Partner
Jeff leads healthcare technology investments and manages fund operations at Allumia Ventures. He joined Providence in 2014 as its first VC hire, to build and launch Allumia (then Providence Ventures), which established the organization’s first-ever VC fund. Previously, Jeff was an Investment Manager at Ascension Ventures, focusing on the healthcare technology industry.
Earlier in his career, Jeff was a member of Ascension Health’s Strategic Development Group, where he contributed to numerous system-level strategic initiatives and business development activities. He started his career in the entrepreneurial setting, gaining experience in software product management and business development for VC-backed healthcare technology companies WebMD, WellMed, and HealthLanguage (formerly CyberPlus). He holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MS in Medical Informatics from Oregon Health & Science University, and an AB from The University of Chicago, where he was inducted in the College’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2024. Jeff enjoys live music, innovative cuisine, widespread travel, tennis and golf, when he’s not assistant-coaching his son in several sports.
